The San Diego Chapter of CNPS covers Imperial County as well and we'll be leading the efforts in San Diego to support the Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Tribe to preserve and access their ancestral lands in perpetuity with protection from large scale impacts like more mining and off-road off trail. There will hopefully be a call to represent Kw'tsan for National Monument status later this year, likely in El Centro, hopefully after the heat subsides. More info coming soon!
